The Principal and the welfare association President, Secretary and Correspondent addressed the gathering and recalled the work of late S.RadhaKrishnan , the second President of India and an eminent teacher whose birthday is celebrated in India as the Teachers Day.
Celebrations included, an award ceremony for meritorious work done by the teachers and staff, student speeches and other activities including song and dance performances by the students .
The senior students took the responsibility of teaching for this day to show appreciation for their teachers while teachers watched their students in action. The celebration ended with lunch hosted by the students for the teachers and the staff. Below are some of the pictures that capture the action through out the day:
