Holi  was celebrated by children , and  ladies with  great enthusiasm  in the Colony with splashing

 colors against each other.Colony looked  a rainbow

Of colors.The young girls paid respects to elderly women and distributed sweets

INTERNATIONAL WOMAN'S DAY


The  International Women Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in the colony on 17 th march.2013
Smty Prathima  Sasidhar   well known music and dance artist was the chief guest.  There was
tremendous response from the colony ,never seen before .Young doctors, and other professiona
, otherwise busy spared their valuable time along with office bearers  of the mandala to make
the function success. Prizes were awarded to various cultural activities like Quiz, Rangoli ,fancy dress, games  and various other competetions.  Senior women of the colony D V Ramanamma
smt Alamelu Swaminathan  and  to Smty D,Lakshmi Gowri Advocate recipient of Best woman
legal adviser.Smty Uddemarri  Lakshmi was felicitated for her Book on Vishnu Sahasranamam
Prizes were  distributed by Sri CH ThulasiRao President of Kakatiya  welfare association and
srimathy R .Rukmini,President of Mahila mandali. Secretary smty Lakshmi urged members
to participate actively and proposed vote of thanks

Mr P NAGA BHUSHANAM PLOT NO33, the first secretary of the welfare association passed away
on 23 of Dec due to prolonged illness. He was 69 years and retired as Sr accounts office in Ags office
A man of erudition and committed to principles ,is a great thinker and philosopher.He is survived
by his wife and three daughters.

Mr KKRISHNA MENON

Mr Krishna Menon       plot no 15           passed away on1st August ,after prolonged illness. He is survived by his wife,son and a daughter.He is a literary figure and several novels are written by him. A perfect
gentle man and loved by his friends and colleagues

  SREE RAMANAVAMI  CELEBRATIONS

On 1st of April Sree Ramanavami  celebrations were conducted with great devotion. Couples in the
colony participated in the Kalyanam .At the end Annadanam was conducted when several devotees

from far and near and neighbouring colony and poor had sumptuous lunch
